WashCOG Appreciates GiveBIG Donations

The Washington Coalition for Open Government took in $12,175 in donations through the Seattle Foundation’s annual GiveBIG event, which promotes online charitable giving in a one-day event in May.

This year, friends and supporters of WashCOG made contributions that were up 32 percent from last year’s GiveBIG event. The Coalition also received another $752 in “stretch funds” provided by the Seattle Foundation through its matching donations offer.

This year’s GiveBIG event actually spanned two days, when the Foundation’s website experienced technical difficulties.
